How in the world can Rory's US Open performance this year even be compared to Tiger's in 2000?

Listen, what Rory has done this week is historic. One of the most dominant performances in US Open history. But there is no way this is better than Tiger in 2000. This year there are currently 21 players under par(Which shows Congressional is playing easier than any US Open I can remember). In 2000, Tiger was the ONLY person under par, finished at -12 and won by 15. The rough this week was a joke, players could put the ball on the green if they missed the fairways, the greens were receptive, and the green speed was slower than the USGA wanted. Tiger did it at Pebble with high winds, thick rough, and wicked fast and rock hard greens. I'm not taking anything away from Rory, because this is one of the most impressive things i've ever seen, but what Tiger did in 2000 can't be matched. Why are some people even mentioning this week in the same sentence as Tiger's US Open in 2000?
