Is it possible to go to University with a less than impressive high school record?

In grades 9 and 10 I slacked a lot and missed a hell of a lot of school. I just finished grade 11 and my final grades are C, A, C, A, D, B. I'm not in any honors or AP classes. I just want to know if I make up all my credits and do really good senior year, if I can get into university. I do plan on taking the SAT's.
