My boyfriend isnt talking to me at all, not by text call or even when I walk to him. Should I be worried?

I am the head cheerleader and he is the quarterback (impressive for two ninth graders) but we were the power couple, you know! I just need advice or something. HE IS NOT CHEATING! I did ask his mom why he wasn't talking to me, she said he isn't a cheater. But that was all! HELP ME!
